At Anambra Forum Stuttgart (AFS), the welfare of our members is one of our highest priorities. Through our Welfare Department, we extend care and compassion to members during times of sickness. We believe that no one should go through difficult moments alone. When a member faces challenges, we visit, offer comfort, and provide both moral and practical support. Our welfare officers coordinate visits, messages of sympathy, and, where possible, collective assistance to ease the burden of those affected. The department also plays an active role in promoting community well-being through health awareness campaigns, mutual aid, and emotional support. Beyond financial or physical assistance, we value presence, the simple act of standing with one another in solidarity.
AFS also recognizes the challenges many immigrants face in navigating life in Germany. That is why we provide basic immigration guidance, helping members understand general procedures such as registration, residence permits, and integration requirements. While we do not replace official legal advice, we offer direction and referrals to the appropriate government offices and professional services. For members who struggle with the German language, we provide simple translation support for letters, forms, and appointment confirmations. Every case handled under the Welfare Department is treated with strict confidentiality. We understand that trust is essential, and we make sure that personal and sensitive matters remain private.
